Our commitment is to provide exceptional food and a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests. Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team. This individual will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen operations, and contributing to the overall success of our restaurant. Key Responsibilities :1. Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a wide range of Caribbean-American fusion dishes. Follow recipes and presentation specifications. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. 2. Kitchen Operations: Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage. Manage food inventory and kitchen supplies, placing orders as needed. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and quality of food. 3. Menu Development: Assist in the creation and testing of new menu items. Provide input on menu item adjustments based on seasonality and customer feedback. 4. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house to ensure a positive dining experience for guests. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as required. Qualifications : Proven experience as a cook, with a focus on Caribbean or fusion cuisine preferred. Culinary school diploma or equivalent culinary certification. Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A team player with excellent communication skills.
