The role will give you a clear opportunity to learn and progress in a business that values professionalism and quality through accounting, bookkeeping and payroll. Discipline and integrity are a must together with the ability to work well under pressure, hospitality experience is essential. You will also ensure adequate and appropriate financial controls, processes and procedures exist in respect of day-to-day financial functions, whilst assisting with the year-end audit. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts for Sites complete with P&Ls, variance analysis and commentaries. Monthly balance sheet reconciliation Manage the weekly forecast reporting. Assist the business with periodic analytical information. Revenue accounting – reviewing sales postings ensuring any issues relating to bookings and accounting for revenue in EPOS are resolved. Banking reconciliations and resolving any banking issues Book relevant month-end journals – accruals, prepayments, stock, depreciation, deferred revenue. Assisting with budgeting and forecasting Assist with maintaining the cash flow model and cash flow forecasting. Provide guidance and support for two accounts assistants making sure the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger functions run effectively. Developing and maintaining a strong commercial relationship with all key stakeholders Ensure adequate and appropriate financial controls, processes and procedures exist in respect of day-to-day financial functions.
