Responsibilities: --- Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies --- Aid policyholders with the insurance claims process while supervising the progress of current insurance claims --- Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date --- Address existing and prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies --- Evaluate new customers' insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations --- Cultivating relationships, with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security Qualifications: --- Candidates with an active Life & Health insurance license are strongly preferred --- Client service experience as a sales representative a plus --- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must --- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite --- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred --- Sales experience preferred - enterprising mindset, no mile too far --- Desire to help families and businesses to "Be Good At Life." --- Bilingual Language preferred, Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Portuguese, etc. About Company: New York Life is a Fortune 100 company with a long history of doing good.
