With a mission of bringing flavors of the world to every table, we specialize in authentic ethnic fruits, vegetables, frozen, and grocery items that help families recreate the taste that they grew up with and explore new cultures.  We are looking to expand our already diverse team and add new team members that share a passion for food, culture, and exploration.  Job Description The outside sales representative is an ambassador for Truong Enterprises. The individual is responsible for independently managing a portfolio of accounts, growing sales in existing customers and increasing sales through new business acquisition. The position reports to the VP Sales and Marketing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Managing and growing sales in a portfolio of accounts. Growing the business by increasing sales in existing accounts. Growing the business by opening new accounts. Creating account plans to achieve customer-specific sales targets. Planning activities including selling new items, reviewing account-specific promotions, pitching space expansion, and the like. Tracking account performance using Microsoft Power BI sales reporting. Submitting Customer Contact Reports at the conclusion of business meetings. Keeping abreast of market conditions and competition – customers, brands, pricing, etc. Providing Excellent Customer Service Placing orders accurately and in a timely fashion. Responding to customer inquiries within 24 hours. Partnering effectively with operations teams Representing the company at customer events, trade shows, etc. Other responsibilities as required by the business. Requirements and Qualifications: 1-3 years relevant sales experience. Excellent communication and presentation skills / gets along easily with others. Confident, assertive, and eager to learn. Likes winning and making the sale. A team player. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask. Ability to use the Microsoft suite of products including word, excel, and PowerPoint. Driver's license required. Flexibility to travel out-of-state. Bi-lingual desired. Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Filipino, or Spanish preferred.
