Creative Counseling of Milwaukee (CCMKE) is looking for licensed and pre-licensed psychotherapists and art therapists who are interested in using a variety of creative modalities when providing therapy. If you don’t have experience with more than talk therapy, that’s okay, we’ll train and guide you! Our leadership team has over 50 years of experience in the field.We believe that healing and growth are best reached by therapeutic practices that involve more than talk therapy. Our staff have access to a variety of art supplies, numerous therapeutic tools and games, a yoga/meditation/dance space, an extensive library of books to use with clients of all ages, a sand tray room with hundreds of miniatures, and a leadership team with over 50 years of experience in helping clients.We serve a variety of children, adults, and families who struggle with mental and behavioral health issues, including those on the spectrum, for example. (Note: we are especially interested in practitioners willing to work with children.)We celebrate and have served clients of many orientations, colors, faiths, origins, ethnicities, sizes, cultures, sizes, and types. Our work environment includes:-Relaxed atmosphere-Flexible working hours-Safe work environmentFormer staff have said working with Creative Counseling was the best job they ever had!Responsibilities:- Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients.- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs.-Understand and practice trauma-informed, evidence and strengths-based care.-Practice with the understanding that current societal stressors and historical trauma continue to negatively impact the diverse clients we serve. -Use unconditional positive regard with both clients and co-workers.Experience:- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in psychology, social work or professional counseling required.-APSWs and LPCs-IT welcome.Benefits:- Competitive contracted wages based on experience.
